The ambiance of an 18th century inn awaits your group at Michie Tavern. When holding an evening function, the entire Tavern is exclusively reserved for your group. Whether your event is an evening feast following an after-hours tour of Monticello, a company banquet or a rehearsal dinner, arrangements can be customized to meet your every need.

Socials before dinner can vary from a full service bar to a limited selection of Virginia wines, lagers and ales. During socials, the oldest sections of the Tavern can be available for your guests' viewing.

Dinner choices include southern delicacies such as fried chicken, country ham and baked fish. Our experienced servers in period attire will provide the true meaning to southern hospitality. To make your evening truly memorable, we can arrange for 18th century tavern musicians or interpreters such as Thomas Jefferson to entertain yours guests.

Our facilities easily handle groups from 50 to 150 guests. Michie Tavern is located ½ mile below Thomas Jefferson's Monticello.
