James
Monroe held more executive offices than any other U.S. president. He was
twice elected commander-in-chief, the second time without political opposition.
It was during his second term that he enunciated the Monroe Doctrine,
a cornerstone of American foreign policy. Dennis Bigelow captures the
executive skills of President James Monroe to motivate and inspire leadership
in company, organizational and civic activities. Currently, Dennis creates
"intimate historical theatre" as the year-round Monroe interpreter
at the College of William and Mary's Ash Lawn-Highland in Charlottesville,
Virginia.
