Charlottesville Transit Service is Fare-FREE on December 24
Location: Charlottesville/Albemarle
Description: Charlottesville Transit Service (CTS) will offer free service on all CTS buses on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24. CTS invites residents and visitors to celebrate the season with this opportunity to try transit fare-FREE.
On December 24, CTS bus routes will end early and the Downtown Transit Station will close at 4:00 pm. Final departures are listed on the CTS website at www.charlottesville.org/transit.
In addition, CTS will not be in service and the Downtown Transit Station will be closed on Thursday, December 25 and Thursday, January 1. Regular hours of operation will resume on Friday, December 26 and Friday, January 2 respectively, with transit service beginning at 6:15 am and the Downtown Transit Station opening at 8:00 am.
